Position :Network Engineer
Location :Peoria, IL
Duration :24+ months
Description:
Provides support for Client VPN, assists with IP Address requests, helps resolve Internet, Extranet and Intranet, end to end connectivity problems, implements approved
Firewall Rules, maintains compliance with ITSM standards for Change Management.
Provides customer consulting related to connectivity requirements of applications prior to, and during deployments.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with DNS/DHCP
2+ years of experience supporting Client VPN
1-3 years of experience with Corporate firewalls
2+ years of experience with corporate proxy servers, intermediate knowledge of Cisco networks.
This position also requires the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively, with a high sense of urgency.
Desirable Qualifications: Cisco CCNA, Unix Administration, Perl experience.
