Job Title : SAP Business Connector Developer
Location : Houston, TX
Duration : 6-12 months contract
Job Description:
Responsible for the analysis, documentation, development, testing, and implementation of several interfaces based on the company's trading partners' specifications.
Responsibilities:
•Analysis of trading partner's specifications to determine variances within current interface setup
•Develop new and/or modify existing flow services within SAP BC Developer
•Validate the mappings by completing all technical testing for each required interface with Functional and Business Process teams
•Monitor, troubleshoot and correct to resolve issues related to the Customer requirements
•Provide status, timelines and issues on a frequent basis
•Create technical specifications and correlation documentation
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field is preferred
•Minimum of 5 years' work experience as a SAP Business Connector Developer
•Minimum of 5 years' work experience with SAP ECC ERP preferred
•Strong experience in working with different XML standards and schemas
•Proficiency in understanding SAP IDOC structures
•Experience in standard communication protocols, such as RFC, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, etc.
•Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and web services
•Effective verbal and written communication skills
•Knowledge of MS-Office products suite, required
•Strong analytical skills with ability to assess complex situations and understand key issues quickly
•Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work with innovative solutions
•Flexibility to work hours as needed to keep up with workload
•Team player at all times assisting colleagues & others
•Experience with dealing with end business users
