Rate: $75/hr on Corp-Corp


Tarrant County CSCD is an adult probation department that is seeking developers to augment existing staff developing a comprehensive case management system and fee accounting system to replace existing in-house developed VB6 case management and fee accounting systems.  Other existing and new development work for various other line of business applications may also be performed by these positions.  This project uses the Microsoft.NET technology stack including WPF, Silverlight (with extensive use of COM Interop) and WCF RIA Services extensively with Windows Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008 R2, Exchange 2007, SharePoint 2010, Windows 7 and Office 2010 as well as the Telerik RadTools control suite.  Project work may also include WPF and Workflow Foundation development.

             Other Special Requirements: For this solicitation, vendors should not resubmit any candidate that was previously submitted for 220CSCD12001 or 220CSCD12002.  Those solicitations are on hold, but we are considering some candidates from those solicitations, but are looking for additional candidates that maybe better meet the redefined requirements herein


Minimum Requirements:
Years        Skills/Experience
4    Extensive experience designing and implementing normalized relational database tables, views, stored procedures and user defined functions in a SQL Server 2008+ environment.
4    Extensive experience developing large line of business applications using either WPF and/or Silverlight 2+.  2 years of this 4 year requirement can coincide with the 2 year requirement for Silverlight 4+ above, but candidate must have at least 4 years of experience with XAML based development, whether in WPF, or earlier versions of Silverlight, or in combination.
3    Extensive experience with one of the following comprehensive third party Silverlight control libraries: Telerik RadControls, ComponentOne Studio Enterprise, Infragistics NetAdvantage, or Developer Express DXperience, with a preference for Telerik RadControls.  One year of this requirement can be covered by use of the comparable WPF library, but candidate must have two years of experience with the Silverlight controls library.  Please indicate product(s) used in Vendor Comments.
3    Significance experience developing reports in one of the following environments: SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 or newer, Crystal Reports XI or newer, Telerik Reporting, Infragistics NetAdvantage Reporting or ComponentOne C1Reports, with preference for Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, or Telerik Reporting.  Please indicate product(s) used in Vendor Comments.
2    Extensive experience developing large line of business applications using Silverlight 4 and/or 5.  Candidates that do not have at least 2 years of clearly documented Silverlight 4+ development experience will not be considered.  Vendors should not submit candidates that do not meet this requirement.
2    Extensive experience developing line of business applications using WCF RIA Services from Silverlight 4 and/or 5 client applications.  Candidates that do not have at least 2 years of clearly documented Silverlight 4+ development experience using WCF RIA Services will not be considered.  Vendors should not submit candidates that do not meet this requirement.
2    Extensive experience with object relational modeling using Entity Framework 4 and LINQ to Entities.
1    Experience developing Silverlight 4 and/or 5 applications that use Elevated Trust with a preference for experience with Silverlight 5 using In-Browser Elevated Trust.  Additional preference for experience with performing COM Interop to Microsoft Office applications from a Silverlight elevated trust application. 
1    Significant experience and preference for working in agile environment required.  Ability to mentor existing staff on agile methodologies a plus.
2    Strong written and oral communication skills necessary for a high level of interaction with other members of the development team and product stakeholders during all stages of the development process required.
