Position: Stores Application Domain Architect

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 6 months

Job Description

The Stores Application Domain Architect is responsible for the overall application architecture for store applications and will work closely with the Stores Systems Domain Architect to ensure a cohesive hardware and software strategy for our stores. Beyond stores, the stores application architect will work with senior architecture leadership to enable a global omni-channel, service-oriented architecture that serves all of client’s customers.

Major Responsibilities Include:

Defining visions for and executing toward the evolution of an omni-channel architecture supporting POS, In-Store inventory Management, Workforce management and evolving mobile applications

Define and document the application solution architecture for projects in the Store Technology domain.

Work collaboratively with other architects, the project team, and product management to determine an appropriate and sustainable technology architecture.

Guide project team members in the implementation of the architecture. This is a hands-on position.

Mentor and develop the team and support the acquisition of high caliber talent

Act as the architectural single point of contact for a given project and drive alignment of architectural goals with business goals.

Review implementation and gauge adherence to organizational standards of code quality, maintainability and extensibility

Drive build-versus-buy decisions based on differentiation, total cost of ownership, and strategic objectives.

Work as a member of the IT architecture group to define and guide the overall platform architectural direction.

Mentor other technologists in implementation and architectural topics.

Promote architectural principles throughout the technology community.

Define ROI and competitive edge for innovative next generation technology solutions e.g. location based tech (iBeacon etc), Dynamic pricing/ESL, virtual dressing rooms etc.

Position: Mobile UI Development, HTML5, Javascript/CC, Adobe Edge

Location:  Mounds View, MN

Duration: 3 Months

Tasks:       

Development of new UI screens for the program.

Fix any issues reported in the UI.

Unit testing and Integration testing of the new UI developed.

Support development team in integration and bug fixing

Consult and provide subject matter expertise on UI development for the mobile applications;

Attend meetings as reasonably requested by Customer;

Deliverables:       

Code changes for verification testing tools and bug fixes in Verification tools, Javascript, HTML and  CSS code for the application UI.

Design and API documentation for the new UI developed.

Unit Testign and Integration test reports for the developed UI.

Other reports as reasonably requested by Customer
