Position: Ruby Developer
Location: Miami, FL

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Requirement:

·         3  - 5+ years of RoR – building enterprise level/commercial applications

·         Writing tests, create technical documentation for APIs and web services.

·         This person will be comfortable in a high-performance, always-on, SaaS environment and working as a member of an agile team.

·         Experience with Web Development technologies (HTML5, Javascript, AJAX, CSS)

·         Experience with one or more of the following: Ruby, Flex, Java, PHP, C#, Perl, ColdFusion

·         Experience with one or more of the following databases: Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL

·         Experience with RESTful web services

·         Experience debugging, profiling and optimizing code

·         Ability to work in an Agile environment

Looking for Hyperion Developers that are in the Northeast (MA, RI, CT, NH, ME, VT) and will be able to appear for an IN PERSON interview after a PHONE interview.

6+ Months Contract

 

General Functions

• Evaluation of the technical environment requirements needed for development and testing activities

• Analyze any issues and assist in identifying technical solutions

• Provide the necessary technical support during the integration, validation of testing results and incident resolution

• Interfaces with vendors and acts as liaison and primary point of contact for assigned systems.

• Work closely with Business Analyst, QA engineers and Architects to implement application components.

• Works effectively on cross-functional teams and under the direction of a Project Manager or technical lead.

• Ensures new features are implemented according to specs.

• Assists in the definition and configuration of Hyperion applications.

• Evaluates alternatives for deploying, patching, and supporting applications in a managed environment.

• Provides post-implementation technical support.

Requirements

Technical Knowledge:

• Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)

• SQL Server, Oracle development.

• C++, Java development platforms

 

Functional Knowledge:

Knowledge of principles, concepts, models, and standards of financial applications and products.  Expert knowledge of all or some of the following products:

• Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), DRM and DRG applications

Other Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

• Excellent communications skills – both verbal and written

• 5+ year experience working in financial industry or with financial projects.

• Proven track record for working in large scale projects.

• Solid analytical, research, writing and interpersonal skills with strong ability to work effectively with firm personal at all levels.

• Demonstrated ability to work with other teams and projects

• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.

• Detailed understanding of project lifecycles.

• ETL experience for Hyperion

What is the specific title of the position?

IT Security Consultant - Supplier / Vendor Risk Assessment

Reporting to the IRM Vendor Risk Assessment team, the individual wills act as a liaison & SME for internal departments & vendors to successfully manage Vendor Risk Assessments

What skills/attributes are a must have?

• Experience working with senior levels of management

• Good follow-up skills and detail oriented

• Security expertise including knowledge on different security risk assessment frameworks (NIST/Octave), standards (ISO27001/HITRUST/ITIL/Cobit), and act such as (HIPAA/GLBA).

• Experience in examining the SSAE 16 Audit report

• Knowledge and understanding of different security products (web/email filtering, disk encryption, IDS/IPS, antivirus, DLP, firewall etc.)

• Knowledge of software development methodologies, application security, and OWASP guidelines

• Ability to document assessment work papers and preparing assessment report

• Ability to manage vendor assessment independently with minimal supervision

• Strong Communication and Presentation Skills
