Title: Lead QA Analyst/Project Manager
Location: Lockport, NY
Duration: 6+ months
Rate: DOE
The successful candidate will have the drive and initiative to "roll up their sleeves and get the job done" and have the confidence to take the lead when appropriate. The candidate should have a minimum of five years professional experience in a similar QA / Business Analyst role with overall industry experience of about fifteen years.
Responsibilities
Requirements gathering, analysis and documentation
Create project plans containing detailed tasks and deliverables
Must be able to manage team members while driving project tasks and schedules
Conducts review meetings to resolve issues and facilitates walkthrough sessions to finalize and sign-off requirements artifacts
Test planning and execution
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to capture and document testing requirements
Work with various SMEs and technical resources to develop test scenarios and test plans
Preparing and documenting test scenarios and test cases using standard tools
Develop Traceability Matrix to demonstrate test coverage to requirements
Executing test plans and capturing test logs and produce test reports
Setup, execute and control testing process using appropriate toolset
Analyze defects, classify and assign responsibility
Ensuring the necessary environment for appropriate testing is in place
Coordinating with appropriate work streams
Performance requirements analysis and test planning
Participating in test execution and tracking defects
Participating in periodic project review meetings and producing appropriate status documentation and test reports.
Create appropriate project deliverables
Be a hands-on tester as required
Lead small team of BAs and Testers as required
Communicate effectively within the design, development and test teams and report accurately to Project Manager
Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining Business Process Maps, Data Flow Diagrams, Flowcharts and other artifacts to assist with elaborating and supporting use cases
Skills and Technologies Required
Must have demonstrable experience working in a large scale systems development and or systems integration project
Must have demonstrable experience in developing Business, Functional, System Requirements, Performance analysis and Current State assessment
Must have demonstrable and recent experience in Requirements gathering
Must have experience in using MS Project and MS Office tools to develop various project plans, documentation and other artifacts.
Must have experience in using Quality Center
Excellent written and oral communication with excellent attention to detail
Highly desirable to have work experience in real-time, technical systems in banking and financial services
Highly desirable to have worked in a distributed offshore development environment
