DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:

The selected Candidate will be required to perform all aspects of this job description.

• Bring in-depth knowledge of quality standards and controls such as ITIL, ISO family, with special emphasis on North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), and effectively apply them to the Information Security Management Program, as they relate to regulatory compliance across the IT organizations.
• Develop and maintain a security plan and other documents that define how specific regulatory requirements will be achieved, controlled, assured, and managed to ensure that the IT services provided are optimized and meet/exceed the regulatory requirements.
• Perform Gap analysis to determine unmet regulatory needs, such as deficiencies is processes, quality controls, training, documentation etc.
• Provide complex audits of the program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Engage in IT process development activities, including research, consultation, documentation, and training.
• Write, edit, update and apply writing standards to documentation, such as policies, procedures, processes, standards, manuals, guides, plans, courses, reports, etc.
• Define and track successes and challenges of the Security Program.
• Define and design measurements and metrics to evaluate progress. Perform reviews to ensure objectives are met. Monitor and redefine key performance indicators to confirm that milestones have been attained.
