Job Requirements:

General requirements

* Programming using the Objective-C language, and the Xcode suite of tools to target applications for handheld devices running the iOS platform

* Peripherals management using iPOD sleds from such manufacturers as Verifone, Infinite Peripherals

* Handling of Server side XML-based messaging (received and sent http) within the handheld computer application.

* Ability to parse XML-formatted messages in an Objective-C coded software application

Specific responsibilities

* Troubleshooting and re-architecting of existing solutions on an iOS platform

* Hands on development defect fixing, enhancing and developing new applications targeted for the iOS platform

* Internationalization of handheld applications on an iOS platform

* Demonstrates ability to rapidly consult and integrate with members of an existing tech team

* Demonstrates ability to debug complex problems on applications developed personally and targeted for an iOS device

* Demonstrates ability to rapidly determine software requirements and prototype solutions in accordance with those requirements.

* Demonstrates ability to harden prototyped code for use in a non-prototype environment

* Experience controlling integrated devices – the phone on the iPhone, the GPS, using the Bluetooth transceiver to exchange data with an external device, using an NFC transceiver, etc…

* Intuit iPay device integration

* Low level iOS API programming
