The Data Warehouse Test Analyst is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and tracking of functional, regression, user acceptance, and performance testing for the Data Warehouse.

Essential Functions:

• Create detailed test plans based on analysis of requirements and design documents.
• In collaboration with other team members, analyze raw data to ensure the data will meet the business need.
• Create and execute functional, regression, and performance tests.
• Clearly communicate and document test results and defect resolution during all phases of testing.
• Focus on Data Quality issues / problems. (completeness, conformity, consistency, accuracy, duplicates, integrity)
• Responsible for daily Cube validation process

Experience & Qualifications:
• At least 3+ years experience in software testing / quality assurance.
• 2+ years of data warehousing experience.
• 1+ years in agile/SCRUM environment
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and processes for software testing / quality assurance guidelines.
• Experience in creating and executing; test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Experience in data analysis and data testing.
• Technical knowledge and experiences in several areas including:
o Testing ETL sessions and PL/SQL scripts in data warehouse applications.

o Any experience testing Cognos BI tools and products,(Cognos Enterprise PowerPlay, Transformer and Visualizer.) is a HUGE nice to have
o Windows and UNIX environments including AIX and / or HP-UX and Linux.
o Understanind of testing Internet and enterprise software technologies including web and application servers.
o • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to communicate the understanding of how a warehouse data is transformed and loaded.
