Position: Software Engineer
Location: Somerset, NJ OR Plainview, NY
Term: 6 months plus contract
Skill sets: Proficient in VC++, Windows Programming, MFC, C# .NET. Experience in SEMI / MEDICAL Equipment's is added advantage
Job Description:
• Hands on experience in object oriented designs based on UML methodologies
• Extensive programming experience in Microsoft platform ( XP and windows 7 )
• Candidate should be proficient in debugging, coding & troubleshooting in VC++ IDE ( VS 6.0, VS 2005 & above )
• Extensive experience in MFC applications, Windows programming in VC++
• Hands on experience in .NET framework with C# & WPF for winform based applications
• Usage of tools
o SVN – Configuration Management tool
o Bugzilla – Defect Tracking tool
o Visio – UML
o Memory leak tools
o Static code review tools
• Involved in complete SDLC phase of analysis, design, construction, testing and acceptance
• Semiconductor background with Factory automation skill is added advantage
Additional Details:
1. Engineers has to work from client location (Somerset, NJ or Plainview, NY) which would be base location
2. Technology Used will be C++, VC++, MFC and .NET for writing software's to control SEMI equipment's
3. Engineers will be involved in Requirements, design, coding and testing
4. Engineers need to travel to end customer place (Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Europe) if needed to trouble shoot technical issues in Fab's. This duration could be between 1 week to max 3 weeks. This is needed as all troubleshooting cannot be done in base location. Frequency once in quarter.
5. Engineers will also act as onsite – offshore coordinator for India based team coordinating for technical issues. Also assist offshore team to test their work products at onsite as we don't have semi equipment's at offshore.
6. Engineers will also be requested to travel to India to share knowledge gained at customer base location with offshore team based on project needs. This will be short as max 4 weeks. May be 2-3 visits/year.
