Roles and Responsibilities

·     Business user requirement gatherings and close interaction with high-profile business users

·     Maintains budgeting and forecasting models contained in the Cognos Planning financial application. 

·     Supports the ongoing development and deployment of new planning and forecasting models in the Cognos Planning financial application. 

·     Supports the daily administration of the Cognos Planning financial application.

·     Thorough understanding of capabilities and limitation of planning module and fine tuning issues to existing models

·     Provide end to end solution for the Cognos planning solution at our client site

Qualification

·     Should have experience in Cognos planning analyst modeling version 8.4 and above

·     Extremely strong knowledge of planning version 8.3, Contributor and Analyst. 

·     Extremely strong in both development and maintenance activities. 

·     Knowledge of integration with ETL (Informatica) and reporting will be an advantage. 

·     Will be responsible for all required documentation. 

·     Must have strong communication skills – written and oral.

·     CPA or Financial Accounting background preferred

·     Education: BS and/or MBA-Finance
