Position : Tivoli Administrator
Location : Scottsdale, Arizona or Chicago, Illinois
Duration : 4+ Months contract
Must-haves
6+ years experience with Systems Administration
Experience with LDAP installation and administration
Experience with IBM Tivoli Directory Server
Experience with Sun Directory Server
Experience with SSL Certificates, Server Certificates, openSSL, Java keytool experience, and SSL concepts
Experience with doing installation and administration with: Apache, IBM HTTP server, Microsoft IIS and SunOne Web server
Ability to work on multiple projects, experience in leadership roles,
Advanced Unix command line interface experience, knowledge and scripting

Role:
This group is currently in the middle of a Tivoli upgrade, and they are looking to bring someone on to replace a current employee that is moving to another group. This person will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, connectivity, updates and reporting to LDAP.
Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining operating systems in support of business processing requirements.
Schedules and performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
Maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
Ensures data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
Ensures data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database achieve operations.
Supports media management through internal methods and procedures or offsite storage and retrieval services.
Develops and promotes standard operation procedures.
Conducts routine hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines.
Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.
