NET Software Engineer
Location: El Segundo, CA
Summary Description:
This position is responsible for all phases of software development life cycle from design to customer support.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Software Implementation and design
- Develop and maintain the next generation access API
- Update technical documents such as Programmer's Guide.
Work Environment:
This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Southern California development centers and would reside at the El Segundo, California office.
Skills & Attributes:
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in the software environment. Be able to work in a team environment and possess excellent verbal & written communication skills. Candidate will have experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and understand large enterprise application architecture. Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of the .NET Framework including ADO.NET and ADO.NET Entity Framework.
Basic Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science
- 8+ years of experience in software development
- 3+ years of experience in Object oriented analysis, design and programming
- 3+ years of experience in programming C# within the last 4 years
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft® Visual Studio
- 3+ years of experience in ADO.NET and .NET Framework
- 2+ years of experience in programming in C++
- 2+ years of experience in Relational Database Management Systems and SQL
- USpermanent residence
Preferred Qualifications
- Teradata Database experience
- Experience with Business Intelligence technology
- Experience with test automation tools, test frameworks and continuous integration.
- Experience in Source Control and Versioning (e.g. ClearCase or Subversion) within the last 3 years.
