Postion  : Oracle Retek Functional

Location : Dallas, TX

Duration : 6 months

Responsibility

·         Person should be well versed with Oracle Retail modules & architecture with at least 4 years of core experience in Oracle Retail.

·         Should have strong knowledge of inventory accounting principles with strong experience of participating in implementation of retail accounting requirements as well as cost accounting requirements for retailers

·         Within Oracle retail  rolling out functional features and  best practices for retailers in RMS, ReiM , stock ledger , 4-5-4 calendar  , and  retail and cost accounting requirements  are a must have experience .

·         The candidate should have been involved with minimum two end to end implementation of RMS projects and that should include-- the subject areas mentioned in above bullet point Within this end to end implementation candidate should have played a lead functional consultant role in business requirement gathering, business process re-engineering, SOP creation, training, testing and rolling out the new system and change management.

*Project Description (Mandatory)

Project Description – Zale Corporation is going to implement Oracle Retail inventory module (ReiM) in RMS and switch from Retail accounting to Cost Accounting and needs a senior Oracle Retail RMS Consultant who knows the architecture of the RMS module, familiar with retail and cost accounting principles. They are using a legacy system on Cobol and want to be able to realise the investment in Oracle Retail RMS and ReiM

*Work experience & skills (Mandatory)

·         Essential (including minimum exp. required for each skills)           

·         5+ years of experience working in Oracle Retail

·         Strong foundation of inventory accounting principles  Worked on additional Oracle retail modules like RPM, WMS and allocation

·         Should have participated in implementation of retail accounting requirements as well as cost accounting requirements for retailers

·         Well versed with integration between Oracle Retail and Oracle Financials as well as having working knowledge of Oracle Financial will be an advantages

·         Rolling out functional features and  best practices for retailers in RMS, ReiM stock ledger , 4-5-4 calendar  , and  retail and cost accounting requirements                                        

·         Having recently (in last 1 or 2 years) implemented within RMS the inventory functionalities with cost accounting method, with 4-5-4 calendar and stock ledger for a US retailer

·         Involved with minimum of two end to end implementation of RMS projects and that should include strong implementation experience of  RMS 13.X.X.
