POSITION : JAVA SERVER SOFTWARE ENGINEER.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:
At least 6-8 years of experience in software development as a Server Engineer.
Must have:
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Results oriented, product focused.
· Team player, values the project, company and co-workers. High energy and passion towards integrating new features.
· Experience developing service oriented architectures (SOA).
· BSCS is required.
· Experience with in high-performance, high scalability distributed programming.
· Expert in multi-threading and concurrency concepts.
· Expert in Java for service development but uses languages as a tool. The ideal candidate should be able to switch from (as an example) Bash shell scripting to Java to Python with relative ease.
· Good understanding of network protocols, especially TCP/IP and HTTP
· Good understanding of database design and SQL.
Nice to have:
· Experience with the following products and technologies: Linux, Apache, Jetty or Tomcat, MySQL, Java.
· Familiar with web front end technologies like Apache Axis, JQuery and Dojo or proprietary web service implementations.
