Duration : 1 - 2 Years contract

Job Description
Focus on a mix of technical skills such as SQL (not MS Access), XML, ASP, .NET, web-based applications
Must be VERY strong in HP Quality Center (setting up test lab hierarchy, managing defects, etc)
Strong analytical skills for developing test plans and test cases from business and technical specifications
Good communications skills to work with developers, business and technical staff

Job Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 7-10 years of experience coding in SQL, shell script programming and/or similar.
Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, agile testing techniques.
A strong background using HP Quality Center, HP Quick Test Pro or similar testing tools.
Experience working in Windows XP/2000 environments required.
A degree of creativity, latitude, leadership and project management skills are desired.
Uses SQL, Shell Script, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XML, ASP, .NET and Source Code control system.
Writes, publishes, executes and maintains test plans, test cases and smoke test documents.
Develops and maintains test automation tools, scripts, utilities, etc.
Ensures quality assurance industry and organization standards.
Defines and tracks quality assurance software defects and open defect counts.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of project related tasks.
May lead projects.
Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
