Front End Engineer
6 month contract
Need to have: HTML (5 pref), CSS, Django is a plus
Insurance industry
Experience and skills that you'll need:
o Experience creating clean and maintainable HTML and CSS
o Deep knowledge and understanding of JavaScript, as well as modern JavaScript tooling and best practices
o Be comfortable building out HTML and CSS from both lo-fi wire-frames and/or pixel perfect psds
o Familiarity with progressive enhancement techniques
o Experience with web frameworks (we're fond of Django)
o Experience with version control systems (like git or Subversion)
o Comfortable working in a *nix environment
o Awareness of contemporary web performance techniques and analysis
Experience and skills we'd like you to have:
o Experience with CSS frameworks (we're looking at bootstrap)
o Experience with dynamic stylesheet languages (we use LESS)
o Some familiarity with JavaScript MVC or MVVM frameworks like Backbone or Knockout
