Job Title: Junior level Java Developer
Location: Rockville, MD
Duration: 6 Months

Description:

• Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Deliver software according to complex business requirements.
• Support production issues where needed.
• Collaborate as part of a development team contributing in group problem solving sessions, pair
programming, code reviews and retrospectives.
• Strong team player who is able to work across different groups within the department.
• Take initiatives and proactively communicates with and amongst the team
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and inter-personal skills presenting a level headed
and professional demeanor.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or minimum of 2 years of technical,
hands-on-code experience developing web-based Java applications.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with iterative and agile development techniques.
• Personal accountability for quality deliverables on past projects.

Technical Experiences (Must Have):
• Java and JEE
• SQL and relational databases (Oracle preferred)
• Java-based open source frameworks such Spring and Hibernate
• User interface frameworks such as Struts, Spring MVC, JSF or GWT
• Parsing XML and using XSLT to transform XML
• Using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ajax to develop user interfaces
• JEE application servers (Tomcat preferred)
