Title : SQL Server DBA with ETL
Location : Norfolk, VA
Duration : 12 months
Rate : DOE
Advanced SQL Server ETL expert. Duties will focus on conversion from SQL 2000 to a distributed SQL 2008 R2 environment. This effort requires a thorough understanding of DTS, Analysis Services(OLAP), and SSIS technologies. The individual should have a minimum of 5 years experience in a large corporate environment. Excellent writing and communication skills are essential. Experience with other database management systems would be considered helpful but not required.
Required skills
Minimum of 5 years experience in the IT industry
SQL 2000 database administration (3 year minimum)
SQL 2008 database administration (2 year minimum)
DTS
SSIS
Analysis Services (OLAP)
Prior SQL 2000 DTS to SQL SSIS conversion experience
Prior experience with enterprise change management processes
Excellent communication and listening skills
Excellent verbal and writing skills
