Job Description
Test Manager with strong Agile experience to work across a number of key areas within the business. The position will involve building and maintaining QA solutions across the business with particular reference to eCommerce platform. The Test Manager will work within a large distributed team across multiple geographies. The Test Manager will be build, lead and manage a team of testers, while working with the development teams, business analysts, and product owner. As a highly skilled Test Manager with a strong background in Agile software engineering practices, he/she will be responsible for driving the overall planning, execution, tracking and delivery of large enterprise scale eCommerce platform development.
Job Responsibilities
Helping build and maintain intelligent QA solutions
Excellent understanding of eCommerce, B2B, and B2C platforms and associated frameworks and testing tools
Play an active role within the project team's continuous improvement processes
Work seamlessly within a large distributed team, across multiple geographies
Working in an Agile & Lean environment, assisting in the move toward Continuous Integration and Deployment
Keeping a constant eye on changing services based ideas and practices, and monitoring emerging technologies towards leaner test management strategies
Create the next generation of testing tools, techniques, and infrastructure to increase the speed of release cycles and allow for constant high quality of application developed
Build, grow and manage the testing team to meet the needs of product under development
Foster collaboration across different functional areas for successful releases
Mentor junior members of the team in software development, testing methods, and analysis
Reviews and identifies risk areas and resolves problems by implementing proven productivity, quality and customerservice standards
Desired Skills & Experience
Ideally would have worked in a similar .com or web based environment
Experience of eCommerce, B2B & B2C platforms; alternatively, any knowledge of the enterprise scale eCommerce platforms, SoA based environments and Java stack, tools & technologies would be beneficial
Worked in an Agile environment with multiple scrum teams and distributed geographies
Automated Testing experience (specifically Selenium, HP Quality Center, Mercury Tools)
Test data creation and management strategies
High technical competence with current handson coding skills (if possible)
Strong development management or testing management experience with a proven track record in scaling highly technical teams
Experience in building testing frameworks, tools and automation within a large scale enterprise environment
Experience in customer facing situations
Strong project management skills including experience managing in an agile / test driven environment
Proven track record for high quality product delivery demonstrating their passion for technology

B2B & B2C Applications Development and operation
Requirements and technical documentation and analysis skills
Broad and deep project and process management skills.
Exposure to working with remote offshore technical operations
Enterprise Applications Domain Expertise
Experience with automated and manual testing of Object Oriented/Web Applications
Broad exposure to the operational and technical features of Databases and Application Servers that are part of the supported platform stack such as Sterling Commerce
Troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
Customer service orientation
Oral and written communication skills

Mid Senior Level Managment Experience is required for this position
Primarily, an Senior to Expertise Consultant Level exposure required
