Job Title: Ruby Developer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 6+Months
Description of Responsibilities:
Design and creation of new, high-scalability applications, and extension and refactoring of existing applications. Primarily in Ruby.
Engaged in pair programming, refactoring, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
As part of the self-directed, high performance team, candidate must be able to articulate design ideas for a system and collaborate with a team to reach a decision.
Description of Skills:
MUST HAVE
Ruby Programming
Ruby Test framework
NICE TO HAVE
Familiarity with Queues and Queuing frameworks (Rabbit, ZeroMQ)
Experience with Mongo DB
Experience with MySQL
Infrastructure Automation (Chef and Vagrant)
Development on a major web content management system
Development on a major product content management system
