Senior Software Developer

Comments/Special Instructions:
- We would like candidates to be able to work with our project manager and architect on solutions. Outgoing, engaging and good communications skills are a must.
- The due diligence required for this requisition is the same as Job#4065 and Job#4110.
- We have interviewed too many resources for these jobs that couldn't answer the basic questions which were asked during the initial phone screen.
- The following two items need to be followed:
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE - It is strongly recommended that resources are not submitted unless the vendor has previous experience with the resource.
- MANDATORY EVALUATION - It is expected that each resource submitted already has been through a thorough phone screen by one of your representatives.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent work experience and technical training is required.
- 5+ years of J2EE experience in developing and implementing IT projects and supporting 24/7 production systems is required.
- Other qualifications include: Solid hands on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Preferred: Basic knowledge of js frameworks- prototype, jquery.
- Preferred:
- Experience with Oracle Web logic Portal v10.x Experience with different types of Portlets (especially JPF, JSP, JSR 168 portlets). Experience with web-services (SOAP, Restful). Hands on experience with Oracle and other database technologies. Experience with Performance Testing/Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of UML 2.0. Strong communication skills, experience in working on medium to large project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with IT and Business Clients to accomplish goals.
