- Happy to work in either PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Database monitoring and performance tuning. Familiarity or proficiency in Ruby (not Rails), Bash, PERL etc. a plus
- Experience with Splunk
- Familiarity with both OLTP and OLAP database design principals
- Chef, Postgres replication, Cassandra, Hadoop, liquibase and data warehouses
2. Build and Release Engineer

6-12 Months
Skills:
- 4+ years in a UNIX/Linux Release Engineering role, including
- Building J2EE based applications with Maven. Continuous Integration (Hudson/ Jenkins preferred). Isolating build/deployment issues versus code issues. eCommerce experience preferred
- 4+ years working with web server technologies (2+ with WebSphere)
- 4+ years using major relational databases (DB2 preferred) with 1+ years in DB change management (Liquibase, DBMaintain, etc.)
- 2+ years of Python, Perl and/or UNIX shell scripting

- MS SQL Server (2000, 2005, and 2008) specifically SQL Visual Studio and SQL Admin console

- MS Office Suite 2010 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
