Description:

Software Engineer with strong experience in financial product integration and relational database experience. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the development of the Vestmark Business Process Management (BPM) engine, ETL tool suite, and integrations between the VestmarkONE platform and other 3rd party systems (Custody, Trading, Settlement, Billing, CRM, etc.) which you will produce with high quality in a short period of time.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5+ years software development experience for enterprise class applications
• Strong Java/J2EE/EJB development experience
• Strong Object-Oriented Design skills
• Strong SQL Server/general database and SQL understanding
• Experience with MS Windows and Unix/Linux
• Extraordinary attention to detail and desire to work with financial data
• Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
• BS or MS in CS or equivalent

Desired Skills

• Experience with financial systems such as Accounting Systems, Portfolio Management Systems and/or Trading Systems is very desirable
• Experience with Financial systems integration
• Experience with scripting languages
• Experience integrating with 3rd party systems
• JBoss, Tomcat, Hibernate, and/or Spring desired
• Experience with open source technologies
