Description:
The Client Front-End Operations Infrastructure team is searching for a Systems Administrator with exceptional Windows and Linux experience. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional engineering teams to provision and support compute and Load-Balancers in a large scale 24x7 enterprise environments.
Responsibilities Include:
· Interface with internal services using existing tools/scripts to provision and configure compute for production traffic.
· Understand the eBay environment, and from there think critically to handle provisioning and decommission processes in a fast-paced server environment, contribute constructive solutions problems.
Desired Skills & Experience
· BS/BA in CS or related field and minimum 5 year's experience.
· Familiarity with Linux and Windows system administrative tasks.
· Familiarity with a variety of enterprise systems including Servers, Load Balancers, and hypervisors.
· Experience with Linux/Windows command line, PowerShell, and Python are a plus.
· Excellent attention to detail, and documentation and communication skills.
· Ability to think critically, handle tasks with urgency and meet deadlines under pressure.
