We are looking for a T/SQL resource with the below skills and knowledge to work on one of our projects. We need this resource to start no later than February fourth. Please send your list of candidates as soon as possible so we can set up interviews accordingly.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
Consultant resources shall possess most of the following technical knowledge and experience:
1. Expert skills writing complex SQL queries and experience with SQL Server 2005-08 tools (SSIS, SSRS)
2. Exceptional understanding and experience with relational datasets, data warehouses and data ETL techniques
3. Experience in implementation of business intelligence solutions from the ground up following a defined methodology
4. Managing and executing various data mart projects and processes for various businesses
5. Experience working in the Visual Studios IDE, programming in SQL, ASP.NET, Java script and HTML a plus
6. Team player with strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills
7. Help in development of database application.
8. Analyze and load data from different sources (flat files, other databases).
9. Strong Knowledge of primary / foreign keys, indexes, constraints, views, schemas etc.
10. Strong Knowledge of Query performance tuning.
11. Strong experience with Manage security, integrity and act as primary support.
Tasks
The tasks for the SQL Developers include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assessing business rules
- Performing logical and physical data modeling
- Implementing physical database objects, managing data, building/extending toolsets.
- Look for attributes, values of domains and existing indexes attached to the entities
- Work closely with other Support Unit team members; Consultant Resource will provide more in-depth analysis than the non-programming staff members.
- Work with the Business and IT teams to complete the project analysis, scoping, and scheduling
- Attend and contribute to project meetings
- Provide assistance in Performance Tuning of any SQL queries and SQL tuning.
- Code programs as per the technical specifications and unit testing, accurately and on schedule
- Ensure that all project documentation is produced in the standard format, that it follows internal documentation processes and is reviewed and approved prior to delivery to State Fund.
