Immediate need Java Engineer -
Interveiw ASAP!!
Position : Sr. Software Engineer (Java)- Min 10 Years Exp* Candidate
Location : Atlanta, GA – Dunwoody Area
Duration : 6-12 Months
Skills:
Struts or Spring, Tomcat, JRuby
Soft Skills: (VERY IMPORTANT)
Motivation- what do u do outside of work, how do you keep up your craft, do you participate in open source projects outside of work, user groups?
Problem Solver- smart, accomplished quite a bit, look at resume- developed new website from scratch with mult customers, you want to see concrete things this person
has built on their resume
People Skills/Team Player- Agile Rooms- dev are sitting in Agile rooms with 20-30 people in it, collaborating on stuff, working on projects together so this candidate
MUST have good people skills, team player, good attitude and positive.
Technical Skills:
Sr soft eng, a lot of Java, Ruby on Rails would be a HUGE plus, objective C. If they don't have Ruby on Rails- need to be able to pick it up quick, UNIX platforms and
UNIX operating systems, RedHat environment, Tomcat for web servers, MySQL is main DB, MQ type set up, messaging, someone that has done web services, SOAP
web services, well rounded engineer.
Someone who has worked a different companies and experience different things but not a major job hopper.
Will most likely convert them to FULL TIME if they like the person.
Understand JavaScript, Struts, JQuery, Protype.
