Position                       : QA Tester

Duration                      : 12 Months

Location                      : Lansing, MI

Bill Rate                      : $33/hr c2c

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

·         Five years recent experience in a tester role on a large and complex system development project

·         The Tester must have practical and day-to-day operational knowledge of QTP,  Load Runner, Quality Center, IBM Rational tool set,

·         Five  years experience creating and executing automated test scripts

·         who has set up the framework on QTP, set up and executed back end testing on an  application using SQL

·         Five  years experience as a tester in a complex technical environment that uses automated build processes for code promotion from one area to another and tracks all changes to configuration items

·         A strong understanding of the SEI Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) and experience implementing maturity Level 3 compliant processes

·         Outstanding communication skills, including both written and verbal communication

·         The Testing Technician must be able to execute testing quality initiatives with a very strong understanding of IT testing approaches, techniques, environment management and automated testing tools

·         The Testing Technician must be able to develop test scenarios, develop test scripts, execute test scripts, review and evaluate test scripts

·         The Testing Technician must be able to participate in Joint Application Development (JADs) sessions and associate business requirements to test scenarios and test scripting.  The testing technician must be able to evaluate and provide recommendations to the Senior Testing Technician on compliance with business requirements and defect severity ratings

·         The Tester must evaluate, recommend and implement automated testing tools and strategies

·         Writes, implements and reports status for system test cases for testing.  Analyze test cases and provides regular progress reports
