Position: Application packaging (Wise Studio) Consultant

Location : Woonsocket, Rhode island

Duration: 3-6 months

 

Job Description:

1. Application Packaging using   WISE packaging studio tool on windows 7 and windows xp.

2. Virtualization of applications using VM Ware ThinApp.

3. Application testing knowledge on Citrix

 

Scope of work for current Role:

1. To understand the existing application packaging process and tools of the customer.

2. To define and establish packaging Requirement gathering.

3. To define and establish packaging lab and offshore VPN connectivity.

4. To collect application raw media and installation documentation from a location pre-defined by Customer.

5. Review the work queue.

6. To collect software's which are required for carrying out packaging activity (packaging tool,virtual machine).

7. To package/test and validate application as identified.

8. To identify the critical tasks and timelines for packaging.

9. To carry out transition activities for ongoing packaging phase.

10. To package the application as identified during ongoing phase.

11. Strong technical trouble shooting skills for application packaging.

12. Trouble shooting skills on thin app virtualization.
