Looking For DB2 Database Administrator
Position: DB2 Database Administrator
Location: Linthicum, MD
Full Time or 6months to hire
Required Experience
Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in database administration
Demonstrated experience as a database administrator on DB2 9
Working knowledge and experience in application DBA and system programming DBA areas
Knowledge of major programming languages (such as COBOL, Java, and C++); ability to design, develop and support mainframe or distributed systems
Experience with using SQL programming languages
Capability to work independently and effectively in complex environments
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
Preferred Experience
Healthcare industry background
Experience working in an SOA framework

IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2 9 DBA for z/OS
DB2 Database Administration
ITIL V3 Foundation
