Job Title : Websphere Developer/Admin with Strong WCM Experience
Location : Detroit, MI
Duration : Long Term Contract

Job Description:
This is a high level resource, not a portal developer but an expert with WCM.

MUST HAVE EXPERENCE:
working on another from the ground up WCM integration migrating from Websphere Portal to WCM.
Must be able to create templates to host WCM content.
Resources must have strong experience with WCM Tool and personalization.
Must have experience working on another project from start to finish i.e. WCM integration migrating from
Websphere Portal to WCM. 
Must be able to create templates to host WCM content.
Resources must have strong experience with WCM Tool and personalization.
WCM- Web Content Management
Resources must have strong experience with WCM Tool and personalization
The contractor will provide services for the New Web Platform project.
The selected candidate must have
demonstrated ability to build and configure WebSphere Portal components including navigation, menu, and
content view portlets.
Develop and create WebSphere WCM managed assets including WCM authoring and presentation
templates, workflows, and content libraries.
Demonstrated ability to create content, manage content portal pages, and creation of the site framework.
Possess web design skills in HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
Candidate should possess abilities to create
taxonomies and categories.
Also must have the ability to configure WCM security and configure syndications. Knowledge of Web
Content Integrator (WCI) is a plus.

The preferred candidate will also have the following practical experience:
Experience with iWidget and/or Web 2.0 development using Client-Side Aggregation techniques.
Experience exporting and importing portal changes using xmlAccess
Experience developing Themes
Experience using the ReleaseBuilder tool to facilitate the promotion of portal changes
Experience configuring and tuning portal WCM for Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Experience using WebDAV for managing pages and static content
Experience using JQuery - WAS7 and WebSphere Portal 7 - HTML5.
