Position: Quality Analyst (EAD, GC or Citizens ONLY)

Location: Detroit, MI

Duration: 9+ Months with an option to extend

Rate: $35/HR on C2C

Qualifications and Duties
o        5+ years experience in Quality Assurance testing
o        5+ years experience in data analysis, including profiling, auditing, balancing, and reconciliation, in an information technology operating environment
o        5+ years SQL writing experience
o        5+ years of Oracle and/or SQL Server experience
o        Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, such as slowly changing dimensions (SCD), Change Data Capture (CDC), and relational and dimensional data modeling techniques
o        Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
o        Ability to convert requirements documents (Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Technical Requirements) into test strategies/plans, test scenarios and test cases, including appropriate SQL scripts to execute testing cases
o        Defect tracking experience (i.e. ClearQuest or HP Service Center)

Preferences
o        2+ years experience with Cognos
o        General business knowledge of any of the major subject areas listed below:
o        Medical claims
o        Memberships
o        Pharmacy claims
o        Customers
o        Knowledge of following tools/applications are a plus:
o        Toad for Oracle
o        Toad for Data Analysts
o        MS Office Suite
o        Informatica Tools
o        Experience with Unix
o        Specific experience working with the BCBSM Enterprise Data Warehouse is a plus
o        Working knowledge of scheduling tools (examples below)
o        Tivoli
o        AutoSys
o        Working knowledge of Rational Tools (examples below)
o        Clear Quest
o        Functional Tester
o        Quality Manager
o        Requisite Pro
o        Test Manager
