Position : Oracle APPS DBA
Duration : 6+ Months
Location : Pittsburgh, PA
Technical Skills Required:
o Oracle applications R12 and Oracle database 11g experience
o Oracle application installation and patching
o Patch management
o Administration of concurrent manager, forms and report server
o User administration
o Understanding of security best practices and security implementations
o Application and database cloning
o Problem identification and resolution
o Monitoring and performance tuning of Oracle application and database
o Backup & recovery utilizing RMAN
o DBMS installation and upgrade experience
o Installation and maintenance of database structures
o Development and maintenance of shell scripts
o SQL performance tuning
o Creation and maintenance of documentation
o Production support of the E-Business Application, third party software and database
· Familiarity with database architecture, both logical and physical design
· UNIX skills
