Need Very strong Linux, Solaris and WebSphere Message Broker skills.
This position is responsible for providing Infrastructure support across the organization and in support multiple IT projects.
Serve as Senior WAS Administrator/Infrastructure Engineer and main POC for IT project deployments supporting J2EE web applications.
Administrates, creates, tests, and sustains operating system and related software.
Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems.
Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries. May occasionally review and alter operating system's software codes.
Schedules, plans, and performs system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments.
Schedules tasks using software support tools and scripts.
Configures hardware, such as workstations, printers, servers, and tape devices.
Provides technical support for system users.
Requires strong experience (preferably min of 5 years) with the following:
• Websphere 6.0
• Apache
• Automating Websphere Development
• WebSphere scripting
• Troubleshooting of Websphere
• WebSphere Administration
• Weblogic Administration
• MQ Administration
Prefer solid experience/familiarity with:
• Git
• VMWare
• KVM
• FISMA/NIST standards
• Router, switch, and/or other network installation experience
