Position : Sybase DBA

Must Haves :
5-7 years of Sybase DBA experience
Experience with Patching, install, and performance tuning
Sybase replication experience
Experience with Sybase SA, ASE 15.4, and replication server 15.7
SQL Server Experience
Experience writing query's

Experience working with PM's
Bachelor's degree

Role:
Each day will consist of work based off emails and special projects. They will be a assigned to a number of different projects form the application team. They will be a project lead for each specified project and will coordinate with the storage teams, windows serve team, and application teams. They will also troubleshoot tickets and perform patching. The rest of their day will consist of documenting and scripting. They will also work closely with the application development teams to do configuring, installing, and upgrading applications. 75% Hands on scripting, patching, and performance tuning 25% Coordinating projects.
