This group develops new and existing mobile applications for customers, and also work on the enterprise mobility platform which is mobile applications for internal employees (for example: payroll, paychecks). The biggest challenge this group faces is the technology and handsets keep changing so quickly, they have to hire new contractors to specialize with the changing mobile app development. All of the new blackberry, Samsung, iOS, and android phones are being released so quickly and the developers need to adapt quickly to create new or change the current applications for these phones.

 

HTML5 and CSS3 can be used on the development of most new handset mobile applications so this is the most important aspect of hiring for this group. This person will be mainly developing mobile applications for Retail stores (For example: when a customer buys something they can scan it on their phone or iPad.)This is a heads down development role with purely development. The person needs to be 100% knowledgeable and excellent with HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript in order to do this job. They also need to have a good attitude because the needs are constantly changing so they need to adapt quickly.
