DESCRIPTION:
The Conversion Developer is responsible performing SDLC activities (Analysis through Testing) to implement an automated data migration process.
These processes support data conversion and business intelligence requirements across multiple Integrated eligibility projects.
The automated data migration processes are implemented using the Data Integration Framework.
The Conversion Developer is also responsible for the integration of technical and application components so that they meet the business requirements.
He/She will assist in planning and executing data conversion/data warehouse implementations; perform build, test, and deploy, including problem identification/resolution and on-going support.
The conversion developer is also responsible for becoming a subject matter expert on the data models for target systems to support the client conversion & BI teams.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Creating data mapping between source and target tables/fields
Developing PL/SQL procedures for transforming data from source to target tables/fields
Developing validation routines to confirm appropriate transformation of data, identify data quality issues and perform data cleanup
Coordinating across development, testing, and implementation teams to create a workable end solution
Participating in code reviews and peer reviews
Escalating issues to management as identified
Fixing defects identified in testing
Support client site conversion and BI teams
