Description:

•   Lead Software Engineers are responsible for understanding the technical vision within development areas and leading the implementation of solutions to support that vision.

•Lead Software Engineers exhibit a strong desire to build high-performance, highly-available and scalable systems.

Experience Level Desc A senior experience level is defined as having 6+ years in the IT space and 4+ years in the specific technology set they are recruited for.

•    Resources at this level would be expected to be able to take on both leadership and team leadership roles and could work with little direction.

•                     A Tech Lead will display excellent oral and written communication skills and posses the ability to speak and listen effectively.

Responsibilities:

•                     Assure traceability between requirements and detailed application design.

•                     Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for junior developers.

•                     Analyze and coordinate the development of software systems to form a basis for the solution of information processing problems.

•                     Take an active, hands-on role in the implementation of software.

•                     Mentor junior developers in new technologies and architectures.

•                     Assure that all technical deliverables are consistent with organizational standards.

•                     Participate in development of technical strategy and mapping solutions back to overall business objectives.

Hands-on General Technology Experience:

•                     JEE (J2EE) 1.4, 1.5

•                     JSE (J2SE) 1.4, 5, 6

•                     Spring, ORM Tools, AOP, JUnit

•                     XML: XSD, XSLT, DTD

•                     Web service technologies

•                     Web presentation technologies

•                     Database platforms

•                     Object-oriented analysis and design skills

•                     UML: design patterns

•                     Advanced refactoring experience

•                     Ability to be hands-on with tools & frameworks.

Advanced experience in one or more of the following domains is a plus:

·         Service Oriented Architecture

·         Reusable component driven design

·         Enterprise security models

·         Cloud & distributed computing

·         Messaging, reliable messaging

·         Enterprise service bus utilization
