Job Title :  Electrical Engineer

Duration :  6 Months plus contract
Location :  Milpitas,CA

Note: We need candidates local to bay area, CA ONLY.
Key skills to focus: Cable assemblies, Cabling, Cable design, AUTOCAD, packaging. 

Primary Skills:

 Auto Cad Lite 2000 or greater

SKILL SETS:
? AutoCad Lite 2000 or greater
? Creo schematics a plus, but not required
? Visio
? Microsoft Office software applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Microsoft Project)
? Enovia training a plus, but not required

RESPONSIBILITIES
? Design of various cable assemblies (power, control, communication, fiber optics). System and sub-assembly level.
? Generation and maintenance of BOM's.
? Create system cabling ICD's (Interconnect Diagrams) and electrical schematics for each sub-system and stand-alone units and populated racks.
? Responsible for packaging of power distribution, PCA's, electronic components into a standard 19in. electronics rack.
? Provide design and development status updates on a weekly or as needed basis to other team members.
? Create Microsoft Project schedules (or equivalent) to deliver cable designs and rack packaging designs on time.
? Work with cable shops to get quotes for new cable designs and manage to on time delivery.
? Work with engineering to develop and document cable routing procedures as required.
? Debug complex electrical circuits at sub assembly level and system level.
? Be able to work in a cleanroom environment.

Grade (level of resource): Masters in EE or a related field
Years of experience required: 4-5 yrs. relevant experience
