Java Developer
Location: Dayton, OH
6+Months Contract
C2C Rate: $55/Hr

Develop and design web applications and web services. Responsible for directing web site content creation, enhancement and maintenance.

Education/Experience:
*Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required
*8-10 years experience required
*Strong 5+ years java  and 3+ years SQL experience
*2+ years JavaScript
*2+ years XML
*1+ years HTML
*2+ years JUnit
*2+ years Spring
*3+ years Web Services (J2EE)
*Strong performance skills
*Experience with REST, SOAP and other related web service technologies
*Nice to haves are Spring, GRAILS and Amazon Cloud experience

Skills:
*Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
*Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
*Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
*Strong knowledge of computer software, such as Adobe, Java, SQL, etc (Required)

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
*Supervise the design, build or maintenance of web services and applications, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media
*Review problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and approve the correction of problem
*Advise and direct management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions
*Direct development or validation of test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces
*Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education
