Skills and Qualifications:
Quantifiable success as an Oracle DBA. Passion for learning and using new technologies. Thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Experience working with large databases, Data Warehousing and Partitioning is required.
Experience working with multiple database platforms is a plus (MS SQL and MySQL).
8+ years as an Oracle Database Administrator.
3+ years of experience working with Oracle RAC and Oracle Data Guard.
Extensive experience working in a Linux environment, shell scripting and Perl scripting is highly desirable.
Ability to work on multiple projects on tight deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills:
Oracle 11g, Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, Partitioning, Data Warehousing, Linux, Shell Scripting, Replication, MS SQL and MySQL.
