Description:
Our client is looking for Java Developer, who will analyze, design, develop, and implement computer applications using JAVA web-based and mainframe technologies following a structured application development methodology.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Analyze, design, develop, and implement computer applications using JAVA, web-based and mainframe technologies following a structured application development methodology;
- Worker will perform tasks in support of one or more of TXCSES Priority projects to include:
- Websphere Portal upgrade
- Vehicle Registration Denial
- Outbound Messaging
- E-Filing
- External Interface Transformation projects
- Mobile Enabling Current Web Applications.
Requirements:
- Experience in programming and system design and analysis using JAVA programming language (8+ years);
- Experience developing applications using Websphere v7 or higher Portal Application Server and Websphere v7 or higher Application Server (2 + years);
- Experience in Websphere Portal version upgrades;
- Experience and skill in analyzing business requirements, developing new and revising existing computer programs and systems; executing unit test procedures; and producing required program and project documentation;
- Experience with developing business requirements; producing accurate time estimates for technical solutions and recommending technical solutions and resolves issues;
- Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies;
- Knowledge and experience in software design and analysis;
- Experience and skill in analyzing business requirements, developing new and revising existing computer programs and systems; executing unit test procedures; and producing required program and project documentation;
- Working knowledge of the following tools: XML, Rational Application Developer, Rational Software Architect, Rational ClearCase (preferred).
