Job Title: SQL Developer
Location: Cincinnati,OH
Duration: 6 Months contract
Interview process: Phone then WebEx
Responsibilities:
Participate in the application technical design process with the Application Analysts and Developers on Merchandising applications related development projects.
Develop programming specifications.
Develop applications for internal use using DB2 SQL technologies.
Unit test your code using SDLC best practices.
Participate in all phases of system testing.
Required skills:
3 or more years direct experience designing and developing with DB2 SQL skills (queries, updates, and stored procedures)
3 or more years direct experience with UNIX/AIX, shell scripts, awk, ….
A solid understanding and appreciation for SDLC tools, processes, and methodology.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience with VB6 development is a strong plus.
