Unified Communication Engineer

Location: Middletown NJ

Position: contract

Major Responsibilities:

Deployment, Integration & Testing of Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution(HCS), UC-Voice Infrastructure, UC/Voice/UC integration, Service Delivery/Service Assurance systems, VOIP and UC peripherals

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including vendors to device new services on UC

Participate in key projects of client to provide recommendations, guidance and progress updates for system migrations, service launches and technology initiative

Preparation of test cases and test management for new releases

Key Skills:

Around 6+ years of experience in Deployment, Integration & Testing of Cisco Hosted Collaboration solutions such as VOIP, Unified Communication Systems.

Experience in Cisco UC Systems & Cloud based Hosted delivery networks

Strong understanding of various industry standards like H.323, ISDN PRI/BRI, IP, G.711/G.728/G.729, AAC RAS, SIP, MGCP, SCCP), QOS, TDM (T1 CAS, T1 PRI, E1)

Experience in Reporting, Release management &  Test management

Hardware Systems: TelePresence (CTS, CTSM, CTMS), MeetingPlace 8106, 8112, and PCI.  MCS servers, Cisco Routers and Switches.

Application: Cisco TelePresence Exchange (CTX) System, CUCM, CUMP, CUMPE, CUP, UNITY, Presence, CUCDM, Vcenter, Cisco Prime Collaboration manager

Telephony: VOIP (H323, RAS, SIP, MGCP, SCCP), QOS, TDM (T1 CAS, T1 PRI, E1)

Tools:  sniffer trace, SBC traces, CUCM traces, CTS/CTSM/CTMS/CTX logs and traces

·         Preferred: CCIE Voice, Routing & Switching

·         Preferred : MCSE Microsoft Certified System Engineer

·         Required: CTCS – Cisco Certified TelePresence Specialist

·         Required: CCNA – Routing and Switching

·         Required: CCNA – Voice
