Job Description:
Our client is in search of a Business Analyst/Platform Specialist with in depth knowledge and experience with MedSupp. Individual will lead the development of the knowledge library. Technical/development experience is a plus. In need of a candidate to make significant contributions to the development of our software application focused on Health Care related Insurance Product definitions.

Job Responsibilities:
Interacts closely with external clients as well as internally with the technical staff, Product Development staff, testing staff and the marketing team to ensure effective definition, development and delivery of software functionality. This includes various stages of Technical and Product development from requirement interpretation and specification definition, software development and validation, support of release coordination and production support.
Members of this team are involved with all aspects of the SDLC.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or equivalent related professional experience
Experience with Health Care Insurance administration systems, processes, and procedures
At least five (5) years of experience with technical liaison and business analysis in an Insurance or software development environment
Expertise in Health Insurance with an emphasis on Health Management, Enrollment and Claims
Experience with Medicare Supplement Products and regulations
Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting technical and business requirements
Working knowledge of regulations, calculations, and processing related to Health Insurance and Medicare Supplement products
Knowledge of insurance systems and administration
Knowledge of software development, testing methodologies and disciplines
Ability to work in a technical environment, using Scripting tools and databases
Familiar with IT Project management and the Software Development Life Cycle
