Position: DB2 Consultant
Location: St. Louis, MO
Description:
· DB2 for z/OS DBA experience.
· Database tools and utilities such as the BMC suite.
· Stored Procedures (COBOL and NATIVE), Triggers and UDFs.
· Creating and maintaining the DB2 databases.
· Good exposure on db2 database upgrades.
· Converting the logical model to physical model –Power Designer.
· Good exposure in replication activities( SQL replication)
· Creating and scheduling new jobs.
· Buffer pool monitoring.
· Taking care of the production job abends.
· Taking the backup and Restore the backup data.
· Providing access to the development team.
· Fixing the environment Related issues.
· Providing technical support to the application team.
· Good Knowledge on Rexx.
· Database Certifications as appropriate preferred
