Rate: $35/hr on C2C

The individual selected will assist the District functional personnel to identify their needs and advise them on possible technical solutions. Technical solutions could range from a simple spreadsheet, to a SharePoint site, to a local .NET application to an Enterprise Application. This individual will work with the Central Office Business System Support Office to educate, market, etc., existing Enterprise Applications that have applicability to the local needs and/or facilitate requesting Enterprise application development/enhancements. This individual needs to be well rounded in Information Technology and have excellent communication and coordination skills.
 Duties & Responsibilities
District Application Support - websites, SharePoint sites, and local applications
Functional Office Technical Liaison - meet with local functional offices to assess and recommend technology to assist in meeting their goals
Enterprise Application Liaison - work with the local users to identify their technology and application needs. Work with the Central Office Business Systems Support Office to meet those needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 
Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and prioritize work assignments for him/herself.
Knowledge of newer ASP.NET technologies such as Web API, MVC, and SignalR
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database Server, and DB2
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and IIS
Knowledge of multimedia concepts
Skills in designing, developing, and maintaining relational databases
Skills in source code management using SVN
Skills in PowerShell scripting
Skill in customer service.
Skill in coding, thoroughly testing, and debugging applications with Visual Studio.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET and ASP.NET
Skill in developing and maintaining SharePoint sites and utilizing SharePoint Designer
Skill in interpreting and communicating technical information both verbally and in writing.
Ability to evaluate and resolve computer application and system problems.
 Ability to work effectively with users to identify and document requirements for the maintenance or development of computer systems.
Ability to identify and define user needs and to analyze and design computer programs, in accordance with the Department's standards.
