Position: Cisco Network Engineer
Location: Portland, Oregon
Duration: 4-6 Months
Rate: $40-$45/Hr all inclusive
Required:
BS/BA in related major or equivalent experience
3-5years in a network engineering support role
3 years supporting enterprise networks
CCNA, CCNP Certifications or equivalent experience a plus
Must have good time management skills and be able to meet rigid and urgent assignment schedules.
Possess strong infrastructure design skills
Technical, operational, and design experience with enterprise networks,
Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate with internal and external customers
End-to-end network implementations and migrations, including adequate sizing, host software and configuration, etc
- Demonstrated experience with Cisco 2900/3500/3750/6500 and Nexus 2/5K series of switches
- Demonstrated experience with firewall design, implementation and operation (PIX, ASA, FWSM)
- Demonstrated knowledge of network load balancing (F5 BigIP and Cisco ACE)
- Enterprise networking technologies, including VLAN design and IP address management
