Job Tittle: SQL DBA with MySQL Exp
Location: Cincinatti,OH
Duration: 6-12month
Rate: $40-48/hr Corp to Corp
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Creates, maintains MS SQL and MySQL/Oracle databases
2. Solves performance related problems with SQL and MySQL/Oracle databases
3. Monitors improves and innovates database capability
4. Participates in team meetings
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. 5+ years of DBA experience on SQL Server (2005 and above) in clustered environment
2. 5+ years of experience with installing, configuring and troubleshooting SSRS and SSIS (2005 and above)
3. 5+ years of DBA experience on MySQL (5.x) or Oracle (10g and above) in clustered environment
4. Programming skills with Batch, Shell and Powershell scripting
5. Knowledge of T-SQL and PL/SQL
6. Knowledge of DB management tools such as Quest Spotlight, Quest Performance Management Suite, and MySQL Enterprise Manager/Oracle Grid Control
7. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
8. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Attention to detail and ability to own/manage tasks to completion.
10. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
11. Responsive to requests/input.
12. Ability to develop/learn new skills.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree Plus five years of experience working in a relevant environment.
