Job Title                                :  Sr Sharepoint Developer

Location                                :  Portland, OR

Duration                               :  6+ Months

 

 

Job description

 

As a senior SharePoint Developer you will be responsible for
the day-to-day development and support of the SharePoint environment and
installed products. You will work with the Project Manager to deliver and
support stable and qualitative Microsoft SharePoint solutions.

 

The senior SharePoint Developer is part of the SharePoint
Development team, which provides the enterprise with a portfolio of stable
Microsoft applications that support the business' needs (Intranet and custom
applications). In this role, the senior SharePoint developer works on building
and maintaining SharePoint applications and seamless interfacing between
different applications where applicable. The SharePoint developer provides
2ndTier support where needed and assists in the integration of new IT
solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Implementation of new SharePoint applications – SharePoint Online (O365), SharePoint 2013/2010;

·         Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring of SharePoint environment;

·         Test and update SharePoint solutions on new SharePoint releases;

·         Provide 2ndTier support for Microsoft SharePoint;

·         Document new IT SharePoint solutions;

Desired Skills and Experience:

·         Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related Technical degree;

·         3 to 5 year experience in delivering SharePoint based solutions for the business using SharePoint standard functionalities and customization with both SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio;

·         Expert skills and knowledge of the Microsoft SharePoint platform (SharePoint online, 2010, 2013);

·         Previous experience building custom Workflow and timer jobs;

·         Previous experience using JavaScript and JQuery in SharePoint;

·         Previous experience using HTML/HTML5 and CSS3;

·         Being able to analyze business/functional requirements and translate them into concrete tasks for the more junior SharePoint developers;

·         Experience with Objected Oriented Programming & .Net;

·         Experience with WCF / WS;

·         Previous experience building custom Web Parts;

·         Experience with IIS server;

·         Team player who is proactive, client oriented, result oriented, 'can do' mentality;

·         Working with distributed teams;

·         Fluent in English.

Assets:

·         SharePoint 2013 App Development a plus

·         Experience in working with source control systems;

·         Experience in working in an Agile environment;

·         Knowledge of development lifecycles (ALM / SDLC);

·         Experience with test automation;

·         Experience with workflows / migration design.
